My primary goal is for my clients, at the end of the collaborative process, to walk into their space and say "Wow, this is it. I’m home.”

Lowcountry Design

From a South Carolina antebellum plantation to newly constructed oceanfront properties, White Interiors has created residences that reflect a sense of the Lowcountry. More a feel than a specific look, these homes provide an easier way of life, a place to relax and change. They may incorporate haint blue ceilinged porches with vistas of the ever-changing colors of the marsh, easily maintained indoor-outdoor fabrics for upholstery, or wide planked floors and overhead beams--all elements that blend the natural environment with the interior.

Classic with a Twist

Whether it’s a Mies chair, a treasured antique, or newly found artwork from one of our fabulous local artists, this look often incorporates a studied, substantive look. Collected, not “decorated”, often without an assigned period, these interiors are never strictly traditional, formal, or minimal. From a custom piece of furniture, to an embroidered silk, or a colorful group of handmade tiles in the bathroom, each home reflects the personality of the client. Expect the unexpected.

I respect the rules but enjoy making my own.
